Leo Álvarez 's biography
The composer, arranger, guitarist and teacher Leo Álvarez was born in San Antonio de Padua, Buenos Aires province, in 1969. He was part of Mariano Tito Jr.’s Big Band and the Argentine Library for the Blind’s band. He was part of Gustavo Cortajerena and Guillermo Calliero’s acoustic quintets. He participated in Belén Pérez Muñiz’s album Clareza, as arranger and artistic producer. He accompanied Sandra Mihanovich, Mónica Posse, Susan Ferrer and Livia Barbosa. His first album as a solo artist with original music was Contraluces, (2007). He released, in 2009, Algunas consideraciones, his second album.
