Biography
Bassist Flavio Romero was born in Avellaneda in 1983. He studied in Buenos Aires and pursued further training in New York with Scott Colley, Drew Gress, Marco Panascia and Harvie Schwartz. He played with Facundo Guevara, Guillermo Capocci, Darío Iscaro, Carlos Michelini, Martín Vicente, among others. In 2010, he released his first solo album, Umbral. He has taught clinics in Buenos Aires, at the Festival Jazz a la Calle (Uruguay) and the Festival Internacional de Naguanagua (Venezuela). Martín Vicente (drums), Bruno Delucchi (piano), Alan Rodríguez (trumpet and flugelhorn) and Leo Paganini (sax and clarinet) make up his current ensemble.
