Biography
Pianist Nicolás Chientaroli was born in Buenos Aires in 1982. He studied with Ernesto Jodos, Enrique Norris and Susana Kasakoff. In addition to working on musical projects with young artists, he has performed with prominent local figures. He was the bandleader of La Gran Cena, also made up of Enrique Norris (cornet), Pablo Puntoriero (alto sax), Ada Rave (tenor sax), Juan Manuel Bayón and Carlos Álvarez (double bass) and Sergio Verdinelli (drums). He recorded two albums with Carlos Álvarez (double bass) and Hernán Rodríguez (drums): La música está prohibida (BlueArt, 2008) and La casa caliente (Sofa, 2011).
