Biography
Double bass player and composer Marcelo Del Paggio was born in Lanús, Buenos Aires province, in 1978. He earned a scholarship to study at Berklee. Completa luz, his first solo album, combines original music with pieces by John Scofield, Stanley Clarke, Marcus Miller, Joe Zawinul and Joni Mitchell. He was accompanied by Juan Cruz de Urquiza, Rodrigo Domínguez, Alan Plachta, Ezequiel Piazza, Agustín “Chungo” Roy, Juan D’Argenton and María Álvarez de Toledo. His second album, Des calmas (SoundRec), features Hernán Jacinto, Rodrigo Domínguez, Ramiro Flores, Richard Nant, Tomas Babjaczuk, Ezequiel Piazza and Adrián Iaies.
