Biography

Pianist and composer Darío Boente completed his musical studies at Berklee College of Music (Boston), at Guildhall School of Music (London) and in New York (New School University). Influenced by Argentine and Brazilian folk but also by electronic music, Darío blends jazz with new technologies. He has worked with Big Joe Turner, the British group Imagination and flamenco singer José “El Francés”. He has released nine albums with collaborations from Antonio Sánchez, Gregoire Maret, Víctor Jones, Ronny Jordan, Miguel Zenón, and Jorge Pardo, among others. His latest album is Solo Piano, vol. 1,
