Biography

Drummer Jorge Sepúlveda was born in Colombia. After a short foray into rock and ska, he studied Afro-Colombian rhythms and jazz improvisation. He has played with Antonio and Tico Arnedo, Ramón Benítez, Lucía Pulido, Hugo Candelario, Pacho Dávila, Juan Sebastián Monsalve, Juan Pablo Balcázar, Alekumá and with Argentine musicians Fernando Tarrés, Ernesto Jodos, Jerónimo Carmona, Mariano Otero, Daniel Johansen and Juan Pablo Arredondo. Also, he has performed with the Symphony Orchestra of Montevideo, the Philharmonic Orchestra of Bogotá, and the Youth Symphony Orchestra of the Universidad EAFIT, in Medellín.
