Biography

Guitarist and composer Willy Cappa has played with Hernán Merlo, Sebastián Groshaus, Cristian Mendoza, Pablo Raposo, Juan Manuel Bayón, Fernando Castellano, Pablo Aristein, among others. He leads a quartet with which he has released Continuación in 2009. The album was played live at diverse festivals in La Plata and Talca (Chile). He has also performed at the Festival de Jazz en el Subte, on the Bares Notables circuit and at bars and jazz clubs in Buenos Aires. Today, his quartet is completed by Misael Parola (alto sax), Fermín Merlo (drums) and Leandro Zappino (double bass).
