Biography / Synopsis
José Colángelo Quinteto's biography

Virtuosity, velocity, precision. Years go by, and the maestro José Colángelo continues proving, for almost half a century, to be the great pianist whom – after participating in the successful duo of Leopoldo Federico’s orchestra and Julio Sosa’s vocals – Aníbal Troilo invited to his ensemble in place of none other than Osvaldo Berlingieri. With a powerful, laid-back style, Colángelo returns to the Festival as the leader of a quintet with which he will play classics and pieces of his own. The ensemble is composed of Horacio Romo (bandoneon), Daniel Falasca (double bass), Pablo Agri (violin) and Ariel Russoniello (violoncello). Featuring guest singer Gabriela Rey.
