Biography / Synopsis
Karina Beorlegui y Los Primos Gabino (Tango y Fado)'s biography

The singer with a twelve-year career in tango and fado and Los Primos Gabino (guitar trio of Nacho Cabello, Juan Pablo Esmok Lew and Esteban Ruiz Barrea) work on the existing links between urban music of the ports of Buenos Aires and Lisbon. They recorded two albums, Mañana zarpa un barco (2008) and Puertos cardinales (2011). Their visit to the Portuguese capital led them to create Fado-Tango Club, which is aimed at forging bonds between local artists of both genres and has kicked off its fourth season of performances at CAFF. In this opportunity, they bring a special show for the Usina, so close to the river that identifies and unites them. They will make two appearances – one for tango and another for fado – as part of an engaging dialogue between ports.
