Biography / Synopsis
Javier González Grupo presenta Conurbano. Ida y Vuelta's biography

Guitarist and composer Javier González wrote some of the best-known songs of the 1990s together with lyricist Alejandro Szwarcman, such as “Pompeya no olvida” and “Ser mina flor de cardo.” Now he has put together a new repertoire on his instrumental album Conurbano. Ida y vuelta, which he will perform in concert. This album includes tangos, milongas and candombes of his own and by contemporary composers. As González explains, this is a tango that stems from the city’s margins and is aimed at bearing testimony to the time period. He will be accompanied by Luis Vázquez (bandoneon), Mariano Silva (piano), Alejandro Ward (bass), Mariela Focas (flute) and Héctor Correa (drums). Vocals by Patricia Barone.
