Born in Germany, he moved to California, USA, with his family at the age of 12, and now lives between Los Angeles and Mexico. He was a musician until 1999, when he founded his own production and distribution company, WorldFamous Entertainment. That same year, he directed his first feature film, Rejected by Vultures.
