Catalina Villar

Born in Bogotá, Colombia. She lives in Paris since 1984, where she graduated from the École des hautes études en sciences sociales and studied film at La Fémis. Directed the documentaries Les Parrains de la drogue (1995), Diario en Medellín (1998), Bienvenidos a Colombia (2002), among others, and the fiction film La Légende de la mère perdue (2005). She is a member of this year’s Argentine Official Selection jury.
