Choreographic techniques of Tero Saarinen

The technique and repertoire workshops’ main aim is to acknowledge the weight of the body and maximize a dancers’ capacity to use balance and off balance. Saarinen’s technique concentrates on awakening the senses of the feet, general alertness and focusing. The goal is to make full use of already learned techniques and find, liberate and further nourish the potential capacity of each dancer.

ShowsThis is a “documentary play” where the artists use the secret files that the Communist government kept between 1975 and 1983, detailing information about themselves , their contacts and friends. This information is linked to some personal mails that the artists themselves wrote at that time. There are moments of a very painful confessional atmosphere. Los expedientes, which presents extremely painful testimonials, puts on stage a complex aesthetic and political universe where we are confronted with a harsh truth of which we are all part of.
