Eloy Michelini

His vast career as a drummer led him to accompany many artists and groups, including Ernesto Jodos, the Buenos Aires Jazz Orquesta, Mariano Otero Orchestra and Déborah Dixon. Michelini toured South America, Europe, the Caribbean Islands and the Argentinian provinces, and in 2000 performed along with the Buenos Aires Jazz Orquesta, with George Benson as a special guest, at the 34th edition of the Montreux Jazz Festival.

In 2006 he played with Michael J. Stevens at the Jazz Festival in the city of La Plata. At present, he is a member of the Ernesto Jodos’s trio, with whom he recorded a much praised album with music by Lennie Tristano.
