Local Artists

Arturo Puertas

Born in 1961, he performed throughout his career alongside Argentinian musicians of great renown such as Jorge Navarro, Baby López Fürst, Walter Malosetti and Fats Fernández, among others. Puertas recorded works with the modern tango band Tango XXX, with Superbanda Big Band, with Livia Barbosa, Alejandro Moro and Marta Bellomo, Santiago Giacobbe, Gustavo Bergalli and Jorge Navarro, Marcelo Mayor’s quintet and Adrián Iaies. He performed with Jorge Navarro Trio and Bergalli/Navarro Quartet. He has recently set up his quartet, with whom he can now make known his own music.
