Pablo Puntoriero's biography

He is one of the most innovative and eclectic saxophonists of the local jazz scene. He studied at the Conservatorio Nacional de Música Carlos López Buchardo and pursued further studies with Carlos Lastra and Chachi Ferreyra.
He has been a member of the bands of many artists, including Mariana Baraj, Carlos Lastra, Javier Malosetti and Enrique Norris. He performs in the band led by drummer Pepi Taveira, in Mariano Otero’s big band, and pianist Paula Shocron’s ensemble. He is also co-leader of the band La Cornetita.
He has recorded numerous albums, among which are Los Fabulosos Cadillacs’s Hola/Chau, Pez’s Convivencia sagrada and El sol detrás del sol, and Javier Malosetti’s Onyx.
