Biography

Guitarist Pablo Satek was born in San Fernando, Buenos Aires province, in 1973. He graduated from the Instituto Tecnológico de Música Contemporánea, where he currently teaches. He studied with Joe Diorio in Los Angeles, California, and John Abercrombie in New York. Solo Jazz Guitar, his first album, was released with the original sheet music and recorded arrangements. On tour across the U.S., he played at Detour, 5C Café and Arthur’s Tavern. He also released Beatles for Solo Guitar (SK Music). In 2006, Network Pacific included him in a compilation of world jazz music and released Cambios, his latest album.
