Biography

Drummer, producer and composer Hernán Hecht was born in Argentina and lives in México. He has played with Bill Carrothers, Jonathan Kreisberg, David Gilmore, Eli Degibri, Dave Fuzcinsky, Elliot Sharp, Ikue Mori, Zeena Parkins, Elio Villafranca, Frank Gambale, Scott Henderson, Alex Machacek and Luis Salinas. He led the Hernán Hecht X-Pression Quartet, with which he released X-Pression. He also released Gru-B Project, in 2009. He now plays with Brainkiller Trío, Rick Parker MX Quartet, Cráneo de Jade, Cuarteto Mexicano de Brian Allen, Ely Guerra, Ximena Sariñana and Natalia Lafourcade, among others
