Biography
Pianist Hernán Jacinto was born in Buenos Aires in 1981. He studied harmony and piano with Diego Schissi, Guillermo Romero, Ernesto Jodos and Claudio Espector. He was awarded a scholarship to Berklee, Boston. He has played with Rubén Rada, Luis Alberto Spinetta, Darryl Jones, Bernard Fowler, among others. In 2006, he toured Europe with Karlheinz Miklin. He was a member of Javier Malosetti’s trio. In 2011, he released Lua, his first solo album. In this edition of the BAJ, he will perform in a quintet with Ramiro Flores (sax), Juan Pablo di Leone (flutes), Ezequiel Dutil (double bass) and Fernando Silva (cello).
