Marcelo Machado

Born in Brazil, he majored in Architecture at the University of Sao Paulo. In 1981 he co-founded the production company Olhar Eletrônico, a pioneer in Brazilian video production. He later was a TV exec, worked in advertising, and directed the TV show Música brasileira, as well as several documentaries, like Ginga (2005), The Pure Spirit of Brazil (2006) and Trip to Anhui (2007).
