BAFICI - Talent Campus

The 7th edition of Talent Campus Buenos Aires starts on April 14, 2012, with the presentation of the main experts of the film industry.

The Universidad del Cine invites young filmmakers from all South American countries to participate in the seventh edition of Talent Campus Buenos Aires that will be held from April 14 to 17, 2012, in cooperation with the Berlin Film Festival - Berlinale Talent Campus, the Goethe-Institut Buenos Aires, the 14th Buenos Aires International Independent Film Festival (BAFICI) and Buenos Aires Lab (BAL).

The main objective of Talent Campus is to create an environment of participation and communication between young South American filmmakers to contribute to their training through contact with relevant figures and exchange of ideas and projects.

The program will be held at the Universidad del Cine over four days and will consist of various seminars and workshops taught by outstanding professionals, scholars and intellectuals of the region and entire world, who will provide a theoretical and practical framework to enrich the training of the participants. The candidates selected to participate, in addition to the specific activities on Campus, will be able to attend the 14th Buenos Aires International Independent Film Festival (BAFICI), where they will have the opportunity to enhance their experience in the field of cinema.

In each of the six previous editions, the Talent Campus Buenos Aires has had an overarching theme. In this seventh edition, “Cinema and Hi(story)” has been chosen as the theme.
