News | WHO FEARS FREDDY?

This is not about Krueger, but Freddy Frogface, the town bully, and how the little Victor and his friends manage to stand their ground. When a circus arrives in town and Victor is thrilled to participate with his dog Saussage in a talent show, a series of events will ensue in this funny, educational story about the little big problems children often have to face. Freddy Frogface is an award-winning Danish 3D animated movie that displays the talent of director Peter Dodd, who worked with Tim Burton in Corpse Bride and with Sam Fell in The Tale of Desperaux.

The film will be screened on three days – coming Saturday, Sunday and Monday – at the movie theaters of the Abasto Shopping Mall (check times and ticket availability on this website). As a lesson to the story, the film – suitable for children aged 10 and older – teaches how to get through in a hostile world made to order for big people, as well as how to avoid fights and be brave to overcome adversity. This is a highlight of the Little BAFICI program, the Festival’s young and fresh section that continues to grow every year, just like children, much to the amazement of adults.
