INTIMATE ODIOUS GUYS

ENTRAÑABLES ODIOSOS

This Friday at 9PM, Los Odio! will make their debut in Buenos Aires at the Terrace stage. It is a Mexican superband formed by Paco Huidobro (Fobia), Tito Fuentes (Molotov), Quique Rangel (Café Tacuba), Jay de la Cueva (Titán, Moderatto), and Ernesto Domene (La Lupita). They are presenting the record called Los Odio!, which was released in Argentina. The record counts on several hits such as “Súper pompis”, “Nacido para perder” and “Pelos en el mouse”. Also, on their shows, they usually play songs from their own bands, as well as covers from The Beatles and Cheap Trick, among others.

Atoms for Peace (Thom Yorke + Flea de RHCP), Them Crooked Cultures (Dave Grohl-John Paul Jones-Josh Homme), Monsters of Folk, are the most current and well-known examples of a new trend in rock: superbands, such as Los Odio! But they add a Latin flavor and some ‘Mexican power’. “Los Odio! likes Buenos Aires”, they posted on Twitter. And surely the audience will feel the same way, while they get massive doses of garage rock and caustic humour. It is the ideal closing for a great evening.
