POETRY AND MUSIC: LIPS, PUNGAS AND POETS

This Friday, from 6.30 PM the Poetry and Music season is once again on. It links two disciplines which have coexisted since the beginning of time. In the first place, on the poets’ side, Gael Policano Rossi and Marina Gersberg are participating. Last year, both authors published their last books under independent publishers: “Vosiyo” and “Bajar de un hondazo”. Music is performed by Esteban García, member of the refreshing cumbia band Los Labios. Later on, at 8 PM, Javi Punga will play his guita to tinge Cecilia Eraso and Carlos Gradín’s verses, who propose high doses of existentialism.

This, together with Punga’s playfulness, guarantees to be an interesting combination. The local background of collaboration between Fabián Casas and Pez are shown through the story; the collective “Los Verbonautas” who, in the nineties backed up “Los Visitantes” or the fantastic book “Guitarra negra” of Luis Alberto Spinetta, among others.
