WEDNESDAY 8.30PM - THERE IS STILL PEOPLE COMING HERE

VIERNES 20.30 - SIGUE CAYENDO GENTE AL BAILE

Many different options can be enjoyed by the increasing number of people strolling along the corridors of Centro Cultural Recoleta. We have avid readers at the Magazine Area; fans of the new rhythms at “Escucha” Space, searching for new captivating bands; photojournalist lovers, enthusiasts with a camera, and general public enjoying the exhibition called “Fotorragia” by Martin Bonetto. We can also mention the sector Poetry and Music, which is full of people enjoying the poetry of Cecilia Eraso, and Carlos Gradín, together with Javi Punga. What about the music? Well. We were able to enjoy the show performed by Panza, a band which joins punk, rock, and the long legs of its beautiful singer Mariana Bianchini, who was wearing a very sexy short dress not suitable for all the audiences.

“Capri” caught the attention of the audience with its disco pop. With a solid band, “Capri” danced and made the audience dance so as to face the cold night.

The band “Los Campos Magnéticos” has been performing for the last ten minutes at Villa Villa hall, paying indie and national homage to “The Magnetic Fields”. The latter is a band from the USA -the leader of which is the eccentric Stephen Merritt- that has become a renowned band after they published their triple album in 1999 named “69 love songs”. The members of the Argentine band are: Nacho Rodríguez –member of “Onda Vaga”-, Alvy Singer –member of “Alvy Singer Big Band”- and Rubin –who performed yesterday with its band “Los Subtitulados”. “Los Campos Magnéticos” recreates roguishly songs such as “The luckiest guy on the Lower East Side”, and "All my little words".
