FRIDAY’ S CLOSING

CIERRE DEL VIERNES CON EL SARGENTO

This Friday, we had the chance to enjoy for eight hours the different artistic expressions around all the Centro Cultural Recoleta’s comfortable spots. Sergent García (picture) along with Iván Dorroman and Supa Bassie were in charge of the closing, granting us an hour of “salsamuffin”: a mix of rock, reggae, hip-hop and tropical music to dance about. Around 11 PM, the three of them left cheered by an enthusiastic audience. Previously, a great concert given by Los Odio!, warmed up the terrace stage, making a successful debut in our country.

All halls were packed with people of all ages, tribes and habits. At Villa Villa hall an absolute silence was followed by a storm of applauses when the band Campos Magnéticos played The Magnetic Fields’ songbook their own way. People were jumping to Capri’s beat, paying attention to Panza, Tan Biónica and Amel’s proposals and making devil horns to Satan Dealers “hard rocker” vibes.

A full show was displayed by the winners of Emergente Fashion‘s contest. The Microcine, located in the second floor, was visited by hundreds of people who went to the screenings of "Oasis: Lord Don't slow me down", "Roskilde" and "Anvil! The story of Anvil". Likewise, many curious people gathered at the Digital Art hall, putting into practice their enthusiastic virtues towards design, creating “Cuello rojo’s” clip for Babasónicos. Another great day is gone at Ciudad Emergente. Newly breaking proposals are waiting for us this Saturday. Starting at 3 PM with the first chords of Suspensivos Inflamables at the terrace stage.
