“Buen día, día” documents the life, work and death of Miguel Abuelo (picture), one of the legendary founders of our rock The film, directed by Sergio Constantino and Eduardo Pinto, will be screened this coming Saturday at 8PM at the Microcine. Gato Azul Peralta - son of the dead front man of Los Abuelos de la Nada- helps to narrate his father’s story, through previously unknown archive material. There, Miguel Abuelo can be seen talking or singing one of his classic songs. The interviews with some of Abuelo’s circle - Andrés Calamaro, Daniel Melingo, Cachorro López, Kubero Díaz and Gustavo Bazterrica- help us to get a better overview of one of the most important artists in national rock.

Before this screening -at 4PM at the Microcine- the film “Morrissey: Who put the ‘M’ in Manchester” will be exhibited. It is a film about the life of The Smiths’ remarkable former leader. At 6PM, the film “Benjamin Smoke” will be screened. It is based on the life of the mysterious American singer -leader of Smoke- dead in 1999.
