Guillermo Saavedra was born in Buenos Aires in 1960. An editor, critic and poet of a vast career, he has a strong bond with music. He created and hosted the radio programme on culture El Banquete for 8 years, where he had as regular guests many great musicians, including Ernesto Jodos, Enrique Norris, Gerardo Gandini, Mariano Etkin, Manolo Juárez and Liliana Herrero. He has directed the publications issued by the Colon Theatre and hosted seasons on jazz, tango and folklore at the Spain Cultural Centre of Buenos Aires, the Ghandi Forum and other places.
