Luis Nacht's biography

Luis Nacht was born in 1959 in Buenos Aires. As a child, after studying flute and guitar, he began studying formally with teacher Rubén Islas in Mexico City. In that same city he took his first professional steps as a flutist and singer of Latin American music, touring Central America and Europe. He gradually incorporated the language of jazz into his saxophone studies. Once settled in Argentina, he performed and recorded with different artists and ensembles: Pepi Taveira, Afrojazz, En el Aire!, Pablo Bobrowicky and Fernando Tarrés are but a few. He released four albums under his name: Nacht Musik, Nacht Mood, El cuento del tío and El presente, all of them on BAU Records.
