Biography
Percussionist Facundo Guevara was born in Mendoza in 1969. He lived in London, where he played in diverse bands. Also, he studied in La Habana. He has collaborated with Chango Farías Gómez, Lilian Saba, Luis Salinas, Hugo Fattoruso, Raúl Barboza, Pedro Aznar and Paquito D’Rivera, among a long list of others. In 1995, he moved to Buenos Aires. He collaborated with singer Liliana Herrero. In 2000, he returned to Cuba to present Diario del Regreso, by Oscar Cardozo Ocampo and Hamlet Lima Quintana. He recorded with Mercedes Sosa on Corazón libre and released Roots of South America 1 y 2 (Big Fish Audio) and South American Traditions.
