Biography
Pianist Paula Shocron was born in Rosario in 1980. She gained recognition for La voz que te lleva, a solo piano tribute to Monk. She also released Percepciones, Urbes, Homenaje, El enigma, Gran ensamble and Warm Valley, a quartet album co-led with Mariano Loiácono. She has played at various international festivals. She leads a 12-piece ensemble and, since 2010, a standards trio with Juan Manuel Bayón and Eloy Michelini, with whom she will perform at this year’s BAJ. With her trio, she recorded Our Delight and Serenade in Blue (RivoRecords).
