Christian Petzold

He was born in Hilden, Germany, in 1960. He first studied Literature and Theater, and later Filmmaking at the German Film and TV Academy in Berlin. Among others, he directed Pilotinnen (1995), The State I Am In (2000), Ghosts (2005), Yella (Bafici ‘07) and Jerichow (Bafici ‘09).
