In this latest installment of series of acclaimed film portraits of contemporary directors, musicians, and artists, Losier offers an insightful and whimsical view of Chong Gon Byun’s universe (and with stop-motion animation!). An acclaimed mixed-media artist, Byun uses found and discarded objects to create surrealist sculptures that explore the clash between post-industrial civilization and contemporary consumerist culture.
