SATURDAY 5.30 PM – CROWDED EVENING

SABADO 17.30 - TARDE MULTITUDINARIA

There are many people around the Centro Cultural Recoleta halls. Places are being taken since early evening to enjoy the different options offered by Ciudad Emergente. An example is Street Dance’s show, in charge of Alquimia (picture), a modern dance group, made up of three dancers, accompanied by live music improvised by a guitar player, a bass player and an MC. Patio de Aljibe’s stage –naturally decorated by two palm trees- felt on itself the “robotic” steps of the company, who was given an ovation when finishing the act.

In Villa Villa hall, Chúcaro offered his popular songbook, arisen from varied influences: from Luis Alberto Spinetta to Eduardo Madeo, passing through Atahualpa Yupanqui. Even though the songs are perfectly captured in their albums, especially in the remarkable “Buen día ojo tuerto” – edited in 2009- , when performing live, they sound like songs’ artisans. This is why those who were able to enjoy the show filled the hall with applauses.

Now, Luchi Camorra is taking center stage at the terrace, along with his pop lab, which combines acoustic instruments. People – well equipped with mate sets, which, at this stage is considered the “official” drink of all Festival’s evenings- come around to enjoy the dancing music while the sun starts to set.
