Kim Nazarian

The soprano Kim Nazarian is the founder of the New York Voices, group with which she has travelled the world during the last twenty years, besides winning two Grammy awards for live presentations with Paquito D’Rivera and the Count Basie Orchestra. She was Ray Brown and Stanley Turrentine’s vocalist in Indigo in Motion. She recorded Red Dragonfly in New York, an album with Japanese folkloric songs translated to English. Her interest for Latin music brought her close to the project El Eco, group with which she recorded Two Worlds. She also collaborated with the recording of Join the Club, the last album of the pianist Mark Shilansky.
