Emilio Teubal

The pianist and composer Emilio Teubal studied in the United States with Marc Copland, Ron Carter, John Patitucci, Mike Holober, Scott Reeves, Bruce Barth and Cliff Korman. He leads La Balteuband and released two albums as its leader: La Balteuband (2006) and Un Montón de notas (2009). He also performs tango and Latin music.
The drummer and percussionist Franco Pinna has accompanied Fernando Isella, Sandra Mihanovich, Katie Viqueira, Danilo Pérez, Diego Urcola, Nando Michelin, Guillermo Klein, Jeff Ballard, Oscar Feldman and Hiroya Tsukamoto, among others. With some of these artists he recorded for the labels Fresh Sounds, Chesky, Putumayo and Sunnyside. The double bass player Pablo Motta accompanied Justo Almario, Ronald Muldrow, Bill Cunliffe, John Pisano, Matt Harris, Clay Jenkins, Pat Kelly and Ron Anthony in Los Angeles. In Buenos Aires, he played with Donny McCaslin. He went on tour with tango musicians around the United States, Canada, Mexico, China, Korea and Japan.
The saxophonist Nicolás Said performed with groups of very different orientations: jazz, experimental music, tango, folklore and rock. He recorded his own music as a trio and participated in tours around Latin America, Spain and England.
The flutist and saxophonist Andrés Reboratti integrates The Nada, Kevin Johansen’s band. Also, he accompanies in concert and records with Jorge Drexler, Seu Jorge, Lila Downs, Calle 13, Paulinho Mosca, León Gieco, Vicentico, Juana Molina and Fernando Cabrera.
