Biography

Saxophonist Ada Rave was born in the province of Chubut. She has studied with Carlos Lastra, Enrique Norris and Rodrigo Domínguez. She majored in Jazz at the Manuel de Falla Conservatory. She has played with Enrique Norris, Pepi Taveira, Pablo Puntoriero, Rodrigo Domínguez and Paula Shocron. Her albums as a leader include Los ritos del sueño and La continuidad. She has also recorded for Viejo Cactus, Ciclos and Resistencia Chaco. Currently, she performs with Los Improvisadores Gráficos, Tatiana Castro Cuarteto, Rodrigo Núñez Cuarteto and Resistencia Chaco. She organizes the weekly Free Jam sessions at Club Cultural Matienzo.
