Biography

Vibraphonist Diego Urbano was born in Santiago de Chile in 1986. He studied and performed within the academic environment of the University of Chile, where he found himself more comfortable with the language of jazz. He has played with Chilean musicians and participated in various jazz festivals. He currently lives in Buenos Aires, where he is part of diverse projects and performs with his own band. His vibraphone appears on the instrumental album El jardín seco, by pianist Ernesto Jodos, recorded in a quintet setting. Urbano is preparing his debut album for late 2011 release.
