Martin Marecek

Biography

Born in Prague in 1974. He studied at the Department of Documentary Film at the Film Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, where he now teaches. His documentary Maple Tree 98 (1998) was awarded with the Literary Fund Prize. Some of his films are Action Lyrics (1998), Methods of an Egg (1999) and The Source (2005).
