Masahiro Kobayashi

Biography

Born in Tokyo, Japan, in 1954, he was a folk singer before he started to write film scripts. In 2006 he made his first film Closing Time. He later directed Bootleg Film (1999), Man Walking on Snow (2001), Amazing Story (2003), Bashing, Flic (both in 2005) and The Rebirth (2007). All of them were screened at the retrospective of his work held by Bafici in 2008.
