Hong Sang-soo

Biography

He was born in Seoul, South Korea, in 1960. He directed Turning Gate (2002), Woman on the Beach (2006), and Day and Night (2008), all of them screened at Bafici. This year, the Festival is also screening Visitors (Jeonju Digital Project 2009), in which he took part along with Naomi Kawase and Lav Diaz.
