Synopsis

Part of the great American tradition of satirical/political/genre collage (Bruce Conner, Arthur Lipsett, Luther Price), The Mystery School forms its own identity through fragmented bodies –from educational films intended for the care of body and mind: boys reading, showering, fucking– as well as interrupted chapters from the history of Western thinking and religion. For its coherence and extreme subtlety, The Mystery School can be regarded as a turning point in the work of one of the greatest activists of queer image.
